Hacking Windows administrative password

Well! in my group hackingheart many of you ask me how to hack "Windows administrative password?"

windows account passwords are stored in a file called windows SAM file. Its 128 bit encrypted file.
To hack encrypted windows SAM file you have to take the help of Linux.
There are Linux based software/programmes written in x86 assembly that can log in into any passsword
protected windows machine without knowing the password. It basically changes the windows kernel while booting.

Its done virtually, without any interferences with physical system changes.

It can also reset the Linux password by changing the Linux kernel.
In the current compilation state it allows to log into a Linux system as ’root’ user without
typing the correct password or to elevate privileges from current user to root.

To break/manipulate the windows administrative password knowledge of Linux is highly desirable.

How to Change User Password at Command Prompt Without Knowing the Old Password

To change the user password through DOS, you should be logged in as a Administrator, or with administrative privileges.

Now perform the mentioned steps:-

• Go to Start –> Run, type CMD and press enter.
• 
  
• Type in “net user“, press enter, and you will see all the users list.
• 
  
• Choose the username you want to change password for.
• 
  
• now type in “net user username *” OR “net user username password“.
• 
  
• If you type in “net user username *” it will ask you to enter password, Enter password very carefully as it wont even show asterisk’s, and reconfirm the password.
• 
  
• If you enter “net user username password” it will change it and show you the summary. You will see the password in asterisk’s.
• 
  
• You are now done with it, and you have complete control over the account, after all its the password what matters all.
